I heard and saw the Daisy Mountain fire trucks. You could see the smoke, but you had to be looking for it.
Talking to the fire fighters and the BLM ranger, there is a good chance if we don't see some rain soon, the desert will be closed by the first week of May![]()

That would b a simple solution, but far to easy for the government to understand.82echo said:I was out there today. Spoke with the range master running that range (rifle silhouette). Is the new range they just opened to the public. They saw it happen, was a skip off the berm. They checked the shooters ammo, was not tracer rounds. This is the third time it's happened that I'm aware of, at 3 different ranges. They've been trying to get permission for a controlled burn, so far no luck.
