On Thursday night, 7 November 2019 a little after 11 p.m., at the Motel 6 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Greg Sapp was on the walkway outside of his and his wife, Vicki’s motel room on the second floor. He did not know he would be defending himself from a black bear attack in mere moments.

"The Police were contacted and Greg was cited for reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm. Greg’s firearm was impounded as evidence and Greg says with its modifications the pistol is worth about $1,800. Greg has contacted an attorney and will fight the charges."

That's some FBS. Sounds like someone wanted his expensive pistol for themselves.
