LIES, LIES, You take that back!!!!!!!!!!!

Kidding lol, yeah, I've got a '59 date, last of the Boomers.

I tend to agree:

Ya F-Up our schools
Ya F-Up our kids in those schools
Ya F-Up raise our taxes
Ya F-Up yank our chains with gas supply and taxes driving prices up and down like a yo-yo
Ya F-Up our retirement by pissing away the social security “lock box” we were forced to contribute to
Ya F-Up our budget by printing money and causing inflation
Ya F-Up drive retail prices up by allowing frivolous law suits over people putting gorilla glue in their hair or using hair driers in the shower.

Ya F-Up our healthcare by putting onerous demand on doctors for record keeping and reporting where it takes 3 office staff to support one doctor
Ya F-Up the entire economy by closing the country down for a bad case of flu
Ya F-Up by paying for development of the bad case of fly Covid
Ya F-Up even further advising then rescinding advice
Ya F-Up worse than all by castigating President Trump who touted Hydroxychloroquine and sunshine (natural vitamin D3) and we now learn you were totally wrong

Ya F-Up by letting Faucci run loose after his emails which contradict every thing he said are released
Ya F-Up by letting illegals stream across our southern border bringing criminals, terrorists, disease, and draining our resources

Ya F-Up by allowing crime to run rampant for several months in several major US cities
Ya F-Up when you act like a bunch of whiny, self-serving A-Holes when you don’t get your way.
Ya F-Up when you constantly lie to the population and block requests for the information that your statements are supposed to be based on

And now you want us to get an unapproved, untested shot so we are not treated like leapers while attempting to like are day-to-day lives.

Yer, Fn-A right we are more sensitive than millennials. They haven’t lost as much as we have and quite frankly after coming through your F_ed-Up education system they’re too stupid to know what they have lost.

There I tickled my sensitive side. I'm happy now.

Yeah I can see that.
When a Milly says something about someones mother they get yelled at on socialized media.
If we said the same in person you usually got a knuckle samwitch.
So we had more at risk for our actions than a frowny emogi on your phone.

And what generation raised this generation?

Like I've posted before. My generation has done such a disservice to this country.

Not sure who you are talking about but my generation was raised by WWII vets. My grandma, had all 5 sons in the service in WWII and my twice on Iwo. Not sure what point you're trying to make or what generation you are.

So was I. My dad served In WWII.

I'm in the boomer gen. and we raised the millenials gen. So what gen phucked sh!t up?

Our gen stopped swatting kids in school.
Our gen started to sue all the companies because we did stupid sh!t
Our gen started giving medals for participation instead of winning so they don't feel bad.
Our gen stopped open discussion in schools.
Our gen started all the phucked up st!t that the menlenials do now.

We were the first gen of helicopter parents. How did they ever have a chance?

We created this mess.

Who do you think has been in Wahington for the last 25 yrs? That's right, boomers.

Who do you think is coming up behind them? That's right millenials.

Bend over get ready to take it.

As a borderline OG millennial from the early 80's.
We were handed our participation trophies by.... the boomer generation.

In my early jobs in retail and food service.
-The ww2 generation were pretty chill if something went wrong.
-The millennials were most likely to just tell you to fix it and be on their way.
-The Boomer generation were usually (not always) the ones who'd complain and send me to get my manager to complain to.

And my parents were neither.
Mom from 1940 and pops from 1927. I got smacked if I was too outta line.

Seems to me there are bitching Karen's in every generation. They seem to have multiplied and mutated to the point of needing eradication like an invasive species recently.

There's a large tendency for people to blame all their troubles on others, not realizing that they need look no farther than their bathroom mirror to see where the blame lies.

Maybe you were, but I wasn't. Sorry I couldn't parent for you and the rest of the generation. I have three kids that have careers, bought their own homes, have families that are starting their adult lives, all going through school and heading to college so your statement falls on deaf ears. I was also in law enforcement and politically active while raising the kids, and had many friends in exactly the same or similar circumstances. You can blame whoever you want but me and my circle of friends can only do so much, where were you, that you feel guilty?

I'm not talking about anyone specific. I'm talking about our generation as a whole.

Think back when you were growing up.

What generation was spitting on our troops when they were getting off planes, calling them all kinds of vulgar names. Our gen.

Our parents would put a paddle on our azz if we did really stupid sh!t or allow the school we were in put a paddle across our azz as well. Adults controll the kids. Our gen stopped all that so now the kids controll the adults.

Our parents taught us how to swim and didn't need the false security of fences around pools.

Divorce was not common among our parents or grandparents. Our gen thinks nothing of it.

Mom stayed home and raised the kids. It was a job. Our gen allowed daycare facilities to raise the kids or let the kids wander the streets after school because
both parents were working.

What was the saying in the 80's. "What about the children". Or "We need to save the children".

Our parents told us to toughen up. They were parents. Our gen wants to be the child's friend and not hurt the child's feelings.

I've have more, but you get my point.

So, as a whole, I believe our gen has done a disservice to this country and our fruit has come to bear.

Oh and by the way. My kids are doing just fine. One has 3 world title belts in kickboxing and now works in construction and the other is a robotics engineer. Both are conservitive Trump supporters.

Sorry, but that doesn't describe, my family, my neighborhood, my experience. I can't speak for you, anyone else, and much less an entire generation. I have my own opinions about what caused where we are today. the cause is multidimensional and not easily communicated in a back and forth manner on a shooting forum.

I propose rather than wasting time on how we got here, which we obviously don't agree on, we define what needs to be changed to fix it and work at doing that. Things like Kari Lake for Governor, another great president to replace Bidet, getting control of the state and federal house and senate with Americans rather than politicians, and getting our schools back.

This is not an all inclusive list, feel free to add at will and offer methods to accomplish.

You're living in a bubble bro. He's right you know, my generation has screwed the next two up, by trying to be friends with their children instead of being parents. The constant "participation trophy" entitlement attitude, along with not disciplining their children is also a factor. The biggest factor is, as parents, my generation wanted to "make things better" for their children, so they removed the learning experiences of failure when young.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

Clyde, if you had a discussion with any of my kids, friends, or family you would learn different. I can't help what everyone else did but, like I said, for me, my family, my friends, and my neighborhood, I saw nothing like that.

I did my part right, but I wasn't king of crap so I couldn't fix what anyone else F-D up. I'm speaking for myself and those I know. I have no intention of attempting to defend or apologize for the actions of others.

They are on their own my friend.

That's your surrounding, the bubble I'm telling you you're in. I get out in the world, I see what these folks are doing with their kids and grandkids, and it sickens me to know they will be future representatives soon. AOC ring a bell perhaps???
