Arizona bill would create massive statewide DNA database
A bill would require anyone who needs fingerprints from the state to give their DNA: Parent school volunteers, teachers, real estate agents, etc.

Give me some neked pics of sienima carpet munching a cup and a few minutes a d they can have it. I'll even pay for the pics and cup if they're good.

Having a wife who is on the leading edge of DNA analysis... she tells me this is a slippery slope..

Not only will they charge you $250 they will turn right around and sell your DNA to big pharma so they can patent it for future cancer treatments and do experiments with it. They will also effect your ability to buy insurance so f*** them. MCSO from what I hear takes the DNA of anyone arrested in Maricopa County, against your will if necessary upon intake into the jail, heard this from someone who used to work there.

Saw this in the news this morning, completely unnecessary and pisses me off.

Not even CA or NY does shit like this. Countries that do not have a 4A don't do it; not sure why we need it here.

The bill has been amended to only include people working with mentally incapacitated people...so, it went from all to nothing.

This massively intrusive law was written in panicked response ("We must do something!") to a rare crime that has already been solved. Why? Because, if this law had been in effect, the crime might (or might not) have been solved even sooner. (Which would have helped the victim how?)

That said, I am all in favor of this law, provided they make one small change: it will apply only to legislators.

Wouldn't mind seeing some of her action scenes myself...she's still a Dem$%nt tho...

Not for a renewal but don't they get prints with the initial application? Seems to me the CCW class took care of all that at the time....
so by extension, if getting a permit requires prints then the new procedure will collect DNA too, and I would assume they would want DNA from existing holders upon renewal... unless there is a grandfather or loophole...

I'd be happy to send them some DNA.
How about I just go into his office and urinate on his desk. Would that work?

Hell I think you should be the first to give it up anyway you can.

Yes, they print you for the initial application. So far there is nothing regarding getting DNA for renewal.

From what I read there was a "strike all amendment" and DNA samples will only be taken from criminals or victims of sexual assault to identify the criminal.

This appears to have become watered down to the funding of a state DNA database and restriction on how/who collects samples and uses the database.

Theoretically, they can get DNA from your fingerprints off the fingerprint card. Scary.
