Might be some good deals to be had there. Only runs to the 30th.

Pretty small amount of items for a gun auction and not a lot of auction marketing done so there may not be too high of bidding. Still in all, looking through all the fees (15% buyers fee, 8.3 % tax, $25 fee for a background check) its maybe a good thing there's not much of interest to me.

I'm actually more interested in an auction company like this for disposing of my guns and related stuff when I scale back soon or for my wife to use when I die. I know the return will be MUCH smaller than selling stuff yourself but there is something to be said for a quick, complete liquidation.

So far I'd been looking into using Pot of Gold auctions in Avondale. What other auctions in Arizona are there to use?

If you are set on an auction type sale. I would look into Reatta Pass Auction, I follow their sales and it seems like they have a good following and get really good prices out of stuff. Not sure on what they charge to do it though.

I would NOT recommend Ace of Estates: A buddy of mine was very sick with cancer and living back east and did not want to bother his family or anyone with selling his guns and hired them. He passed before the sale and they pulled some sneaky shit with his sister and ended up offering a lump sum that was probably 10-20 cents on the dollar to what it was worth

Thanks for that intel. It seems there are actually many auction outlets out there once you look into it. While they're all going to be rather costly to use, there has to be some out there that will treat you fairly.

That is the key word I think "fairly". Everyone is in business too make a profit, that is the name of the game and the reason why we do it. One of the most honest people and a sub contractor I have worked with numerous times said it best: You can be fair and make great money being an AC contractor, there is no reason to intentionally screw or sell people shit that they do not need to make a profit.
