IMO, Fox and everybody else is missing the point. It's not that he couldn't remember dates; it's that he dodged the questions -- and Hur did not follow up.

"Where did you store the documents before they were in your garage?"
"Well, let me see, what year was that? When did my son die in Iraq?"
"Where did you store the documents?"
"Well, let me see, what was going on at that time? When was Trump elected?"
"WHERE DID YOU STORE THE DOCUMENTS?"

I don't know if Biden couldn't remember dates, or if he was dodging the question by changing the subject to dates, but he never answered the questions, and Hur let him get away with it.
