I have an SBR that is 11.5 inches with an A2 Front sight post. I currently have a quad rail that mounts to my barrel nut and goes over the front site post(has a cut out for the front site post).

I want to switch the guard out to something that is even lighter (no more quad rails). So I can just attach two small m-lock rails to hold my forward grip and flashlight. However, I’d like some thing that still attaches to the barrel nut, and still has a cut out for the A2 sight post.

After a few hours of searching on the Internet, I realized that meeting my specifications may be hard. Does anyone know of something that would meet what I’m asking?

TacMedic, not sure if there's one that completely fits your bill, but I would do something like this-

And then mill out/cut this-

I've had good luck with SLR, they're extremely lightweight, and I don't think overpriced.

Is the Delta ring still attached? If so, here are two options to think about and both are quality.

This is what I have on my own 11.5 SBR with FSB like yours, I like the added real estate that it gives me:

No delta ring. I’m thinking I will just go with a 7 inch handguard that just ends behind my front site post. Thanks all!

How about this?

Looks lightweight and slim!

looks like GringoLoco beat me to it but this one is a bit different.

I ended up going with just a seven inch behind my front site post. It was still two piece that I didn’t have to remove the front sight post.
