Any Grocery Jacking events there?

Saw 2 PD cars in the Costco parking lot yesterday, but don’t know if they were there for security or hot dogs. Last week someone was open carry in the Albertson’s parking lot. He had a nice CCW rig but had pulled his shirt over the gun to purposely display.

They weren't there for hot dogs as the food courts in Costco and Sam's Club are shut down until further notice.

The food court at the Chris town Costco was open yesterday. No sit down dining and you could only get pizza or hot dogs.

I heard from a Wal-mart employee I know that 2 guys started fighting over the last package of TP. The one guy sat it down and they started chest bumping each other and a woman grabbed the TP put it in her cart and took off. Now there is an officer in the store.

You guys think things are going to get worse with the economy stalling and layoffs/furloughs?
I do not not leave the house unarmed any more with out a few mags and a compact pistol.

I think things will get a bit more dire for those that lost their jobs, and places that closed down are going to be bigger targets, and people who are out and about. I'm hoping people are smart enough to realize most are home staying isolated or working from home that home invasions aren't a thing, but then again, not the highest of IQ perps.

The big concern down the road say 2-3 months, were do we see things economically? Loss of jobs, people evicted over late rent/mortgage? Kind of starting to feel like 2008 all over again...

The Safeway on Elliot in Tempe had a uniformed witness. Two cops in the parking lot of the Walmart on Arizona and Pecos but they are almost always there. Target further south on Arizona had no security for their early open for TP.

I've not heard of any but sure they are happening to some degree. Guessing things will start ticking up the longer this goes on.

there have been a few reported on the RING app in Tucson, one in particular was at the Fry's on 22nd and Harrison, where an elderly woman was attacked and her groceries stolen.

I'm afraid to go there in the daytime, no surprise something happened. The easiest deterrent is to stay away from crappy/shady parts of town... I heard somewhere that most crime happens 4 miles from where the perp lives.

If they continue the shutdown, the economy of the United States will have collapsed in 3 months, so they need to send people back to work and have people become responsible for their own health and welfare for the most part. The alternative is people and their children and grandchildren living in what will become a 3rd world country. Virtually all small and medium sized businesses that were forced to close will never reopen and their suppliers will also close. You'd end up with 75% unemployment or worse.

yeah, the east side has become another Cleveland or Detroit lite...never thought I would see that happen, been living on that side of town for almost 25 years, but I am read to pop smoke and move.
