These incidents under the limited time of the JOkE sliDEN reign are all out of proportion to prior Presidents. I think Trumpster had MSD H.S. in S. Florida, Sutherland Springs church in Tx. and Las Vegas. I forget which ones BHO had, other than maybe Va. Tech, Dallas Police, Boulder #1 (Arvida?) and Ft. HOod.

Hate to sound like a old tired broke dik .. and I am really not .. I think I am pretty progressive on most things social.
Having said that .. I watched the internet be born and watched as it morphed. I think social media is a bane on humanity.
Used to be you lived in your hood, you knew X amount of people, you went to work everyday, you tried desperately to get laid, you got married had kids, rinse repeat.
Oh yea.. you may or may not have read the paper on the way to work and probably watched one of the evening news programs. That and the barber shop is where you got all your relevant news information.
Now everyone is pissed off about something, They didnt even know they were supposed to be pissed off about it but , there is a group for that. Influencers, talking heads and media and people just desperate for clicks and attention feed like vultures on bad news and making people feel shitty.
Then regardless of your particular outrage bent you can then find THOUSANDS of other people who have the same outrage and you join this echo chamber of bleating. Its why I couldn't get into Parler. Meh just another group taking turns at self flagellation and outrage.
The tag line used to be if it bleeds it leads. The current state of affairs of most social media is the same.
Its not like I have some golden illusion that the past was better. The world sucked then too but .. you werent beat over the head with it 24 hours a day. Like I said .. my NYC had 2500 murders a year ... I watch people getting outraged and I think .. fuk .. America has never been safer and yet to scan the news and social media we are all in immediate danger.
Dont recall seeing so many people just angry about sh*t. and they are being fed. If your screws arent tight .. well stuff like this is going to keep happening. Then it will get reported on, politicians will hurry to capitalize on the outrage and make laws that do nothing, pissing off another group of people who will then be outraged .. whew .. dont know how we get off this ride.
Add to that a couple of generations of playdate survivors and helicopter parents who didnt go out and learn impulse control and coping skills ... good luck
