Not that interesting really since I go pretty often but today was kind of special.

A buddy lent me a HK 45C. I had put a couple of rounds through it before at usery but only a few because it wasnt my ammo and I am sensitive to the ammo shortage.

I knew I had a box of 45 somewhere around and found it yesterday. So off to shoot today. Gun is equipped with the LEM kit and is a pleasure to shoot. Has to be one of softest shooting 45's I have ever shot and I have shot a boat load of 45. More accurate than I will ever be and I even liked the paddle mag release. Haven't shot any 45 in at leat a year and a half and man I do love those BIG GIANT holes it makes. So after 50 rounds of WWB 230gr FMJ and a few Gold dots .. man I like this gun.

So I started a little off because it has a white dot out front and my old eyes have trouble with them. I prefer black out.

First target just getting a handle on the gun at about 8 yds and a touch. Not great but it was a first date

It didnt take long to shoot this at the same distance.

Man I have to get another 45 .. Hopefully he hates it and I can wrangle it away.

Played with my newish Glock 23 gen 5 some. Took out the center blue dot which is about 1.5in in diameter at 7 yds and then thought I would play some.

The next target is 18 shots total and 2 at 7 yds, 2 at 10 yds, 2 at 15 yds and the rest at the furthest point the target will go at an indoor range. I never measured it personally but according to the wall markings its a couple meters past the 20 yd mark so more than 20 and looks like less than 25. Really liking this G23!

Certainly no wyatt earp but .. I am fairly pleased.

Wife once again killed it with her Ruger sr22 in tonka yellow and is getting much better with her Heritage single action. Groups are awesome but a touch to the left. The ruger she blows the center of the target out.

Meh .. just a day out for some elderly folk
