My wife’s car was stolen with a pistol inside.

Amazing, why on earth would someone steal a 10+ yo Rabbit? Since mid 90s, it's become very difficult to hot wire a car. Thieves pretty much have to drag it onto a flat bed truck or trailer. I know a bit off topic, but any idea how it was taken?
