Czech-based CSG has seen its revenue and profits rise since Russia's invasion of Ukraine as demand for heavy military equipment and ammunition to ship to Ukraine soared.

Keep in mind they are only selling the “Sporting Products” and will be keeping the “Outdoor Products” they have a pretty good outline on their home page.

Gun control never worked….it’s all about the ammo.

Well, trying to remain positive, the new owners (who own Fiocchi) have already begun construction in Little Rock of the new Fiocchi ammunition plant. So it seems they are invested in and believers in the U.S. civilian market. And the Czech Republic is perhaps the most gun-friendly nation in Europe, having just a few years ago created as near a right to weaponry as can be had anywhere else besides us.

But yes, they are very focused on serving the demand for munitions in Ukraine and Europe's re-arming right now, so that does indeed leave a question as to how much production capacity here might possibly be bled off to service that.

Here is the new Adnan Khashoggi--

"The all-cash sale of the sporting products unit, which includes its guns and ammunition business, to privately held Czechoslovak Group a.s. (CSG) is expected to close next calendar year, Vista Outdoor said."

I agree with Doc, this is no bueno

Looks like they're selling Hoppe's and other products to the Czech's, not the powder and ammo side of the business. I hope, anyway...
...definitive agreement to sell its Sporting Products business to Czechoslovak Group a.s. (“CSG”) for an enterprise value of $1.91 billion in an all-cash transaction subject to customary closing conditions.
