AK Pistol in 5.45x39 for SBR?

Looking for recommendations on a high-quality AK-74 pistol build that I can SBR or add a brace to and avoid the added expense of SBR if possible.

Really, really wanted the IWI Galil 5.45x39 pistol, but since they were limited to 545 total it's been impossible to find one for under $2500.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

As much as it pains to say the time to buy is now. If you can find it and it is even remotely in your budget but it. The political climate being what it is will likely be dark times for the foreseeable future.

Arsenal. They are about the only option for 5.54x39 pistols that isn't US made.

Sorry, but I don't trust US made AKs yet.

Completely agree about US made AKs, I've been watching Arsenal for any AK74 pistols and if they begin producing them again I'll be all over it.

Funny you mention $2000 because that is exactly what my budget is. I'm not saying that it's reasonable, but as you know prices are through the roof right now.

Unfortunately Arsenal is your only option with the SLR104UR. Unless you find a complete krink kit or a already built kit gun. The kits might be closer to the 2k range I’ve seen some arsenal 545 fetch primo doll hairs these days. Good luck with your search.
