I built one of their piston systems following their directions exactly, it always had cycling issues for me. The issues were random enough that I could not dial in exactly what was causing the problem.

I could not tell you if it was the build or if it was the system itself. Soon after that, I sold the upper to an individual who was aware of the cycling issues, and moved back to a gas system forever.

Emailed the company on those same concerns on cycling, research and development has according to the individual that replied to me come a long way since the introduction of their piston block. They do suggest more lube on the BCG, especially in full auto mode. Made in the USA, lifetime warranty, actually found one on sale and in stock. I’m tempted to hit the buy now button

I have two brand new ones I have not shot, the quality looks very nice. I run an RDB all the time, so do not use the AR stuff. My cousin has another that he has run and it has worked just fine. He does keep it well lubed, so that may make a difference.

I hit the launch sequence button! May have it in 9 or 10 days

Report after range time if your willing. I wish I could’ve kept my 7.5 inch barrel one but it just was not reliable enough for self-defense.

I had nothing but problems with AA. I first got a upper that had the gas block on with set screws not pinned. What a Joke. The repair was even a bigger joke, lasted 3 rounds. I got a second just in case the 1st was a fluke, Problems. Save yourself headaches and don't.

Most of you that dislike, did you try to retrofit your current upper?

I built mine from the ground up, but I guess that could be considered retrofit because I did not use their upper but used a standard upper and put in the bushing they sent me for the rod.

Thanks medic, we’ll I hope by ordering their completely assembled upper I can avoid whatever snafu’s you all have experienced, did they offer you any help or remedies?

I hope you do. I went back and forth with them and they even took it in and tested it. They told me it was fine, but then when I got it back it had the same exact problem. I had another person try it on a different lower and they had the same issue. They attempted to try and figure out what was wrong, and they couldn’t either. It was at that point that I decided it was not trustworthy and got rid of it.

I won one off a prize table and made an upper with a bcm barrel. Runs like a top. Selling it as I prefer longer rails and this one is mid length with picatinny gas block. 3 position gas block awesome. Ymmv
