Would this have been an actual fragmentation grenade? If so sentence seems surprisingly lenient. His claim of being former Rialto PD is true.

Plea deal, although why they would let him plea to that low of a deal is confusing. That's the meaning of red handed.

Oh and he demoted himself to lawyer.

First off look at his name. Then ask yourself if he could be an illegal alien. If so California is lenient on them. That would account for the sentence.

Only 2 years? What about Drug charges? How about the forged Fibby docs? What ever happened to Common Sense Crime punishment?
Plea Bargain? BS!

If I did all that, I'd be put away for a long, looooong time. What a bunch of BS.

I think most people would have gotten longer than 2 years just for the first arrest, getting arrested again 40-something days later with another weapon would probably have doubled that sentence

Plea Bargain...
He snitched out and gave up some heavy hitters. Possibly local gangs or Cartel. Anybody giving odds on how long he survives in lock up?

The answer is CALIFORNIA. Poor guy. He just had a bad day.

This was a federal judge and a federal court not a California state court
Is he from California? You don't think he has friends?

(A California lawyer and former Rialto Police officer.) You don't think he might have something on anyone that would be embarrassing if it hot out.

duh, how do you think he got such a good deal. i mean ca'mon,

Hey, California. Some proving you're a felon is a badge of honor. You might get to the governor's chair.

Remember the majority of the voters are all stupid liberals.

The state is Republican, it's to bad 3 or 4 major cities that control the votes in. California
