So I have bunch of Federal PBLE 9mm 115 grain HP, +P+ that I had stock piled before the last crisis, for use in my then favorite Beretta 92G, as well as my Glock 19/17. But now, however, my main go to guns are a Beretta PX4 compact and a Sig 365XL.

Would this old ammo and these newer pistols work together well? Haven't tried any test runs yet. What is your opinion? Thanks in advance for your comments and assembled experience and wisdom.

The +P stuff is usually fine, but +P+ can sometimes be an issue in modern guns with MIM parts. It will definitely accelerate wear compared to the standard stuff. I think +P+ may also void your warranty on the Sig.
You might try experimenting with stronger action springs if nothing else.

I've been thinking that I'll save the BPLE +P+ for the Glocks and the PX4 Compact, and use Hornady 115gr XTP and the Hornady 124gr +P XTP in the Sig. The Hornady seems pretty soft shooting, and the reviews seem good.

The Sig 365 is specifically rated for +P ammo, mind you, it’s going to be uncomfortable in that small a pistol.

Dam, I just happened across an article yesterday about how someone (with+P+) damaged their newer Sig, IIRC, and Sig told them they voided they warranty for not using SAMMI spec ammo, and that a couple other brands aren't rated for that either. Then there was something about +P+ is just a marketing gimmick, but it sure seems to be hotter if you look at the numbers.
Not to knock the OP's use of it, but I don't see the need to get and extra 50fps out of it, when self defense ammo technology has come a long ways in just 5-10 years.
But bottom line, Sig said no +P+ ammo in our guns.

From Sig's site

Can I use +P or +P+?
+P Ammo manufactured to SAAMI/CIP/NATO specs is fine to use as a defensive round or for occasional range use. Continual use of this round will make it necessary for more frequent service on the pistol. We do NOT recommend the use of any +P+ round. This may void your warranty.

Can I use reloaded or hand-loaded ammo?
No. The use of any ammunition that is not an American factory loaded, SAAMI approved round could be dangerous and will void your warranty.

IIRC, there is no SAAMI standard FOR plus-P-plus, only +P.
Now, I know that round and have used it in the past. It's
Federal, a high-quality OEM with
standards, quality control, reputation, etc. What I did
was establish if it hit POA_POI in the gat/s in-question, then
simply reserve it for carry. Rounds chambered once, then extracted
for cleaning, making safe, etc....were then relegated to the practice box.
