More with the 300win mag.
190/220smk
H4831sc
Both tops
Left is 70gr
2.755 and 2.775cbto 190
Right is 72.5gr, same lengths.
Both seem to favor the shorter of the two bullets lengths. I’m ok with that. The 70gr charge is 2865fls average. The 72.5 8: 2916fps ave. Is 2.5gr powder worth 50fps? I’m
Going to load 10 each and shoot them long next time. Get some numbers and put them into my shooting app.
The 220smk was opposite.
68.7gr h4831sc
2.900 and 2.755. It prefered the longer of the 2. The shot on right edge of center target was me. I know it was. Just like the 3rd shot on the top right target was me too. I’m going to load some more of them up also. I’ll shoot them at either 500 or 600m and see how they do.
Just dropped the rifle off the get threaded. So see if I get it back before Sunday and I’ll shoot some more.
Working on some of the accubonds also with n560. Didn’t get a pic, but not really anything to see. Went from 73.7-73.1gr. 3.340” the 73.1gr shot about 3/4” with 3 rounds. I know better than to shoot noslers on anything but a clean bore. Then never see to shoot well if I’ve ran them after another bullet. And vice versa other bullets take a few rounds to clear out the jacket material it seams before they’ll shoot regular after noslers.
Anyhow. Just more trigger time. Makes me happy. Shot the 223 rem 700 20 time times too. 70gr deep curls onto a deer head silhouette at 400m is plenty fine for me. Loaded them for my 12.5”. So they shoot good too. Time to get back on some 9mm for the day I guess. It’s already pushing 100* out and it’s 1145…
