Not to slight the accident (horrific, and I hope he's convicted on all 3 counts of murder), but this caught my attention:

"Deputies later found marijuana and other unspecified drugs in the vehicle. They also recovered a "large amount" of cash and several weapons, including an AR15, an [highlight=yellow]MP40-style submachine gun[/highlight], a shotgun and two handguns, Forghani said."

Anyone wanna take bets that it's a semi-auto 9mm clone from GSG and they just want to sensationalize the story?

There is a lot more crime in the SanTan Valley area than ever before. People are flocking to San Tan Valley from all over because of the reduced cost and it being called the next "Gilbert" by several magazines. The sheriff's office will admit they are overwhelmed and response time is suffering. Pinal unfortunately will not let them incorporate so they can have a police department that meets the needs of its citizens and level of calls for service.

They didn't mention stolen property unless I missed that, but I do think the car full of felonies factored into the running from the police.
