I have an original M77 light weight with tang safety in .270, it is the higher grade with nice wood and the nicer blueing, I took it to a gunsmith in September to have a muzzle brake installed (wifes gun and wanted to cut recoil for her). Before I took it in the gun consistantly shot slightly...
So with the black plague firearm buying panic going on there are now lots and lots of first time gun owners out there, is this a good thing or a bad thing (glass half full or half empty)?
I can see both sides
On the positive side: At least some of those people are not going to want their gun...
I am also to fat and lazy for that, but here is the rig that I use for all of my outdoor activities and it would work great for "MTB"

My gun safe has the electric keypad to unlock without a mechanical dial as a back up, does anyone know if it can be swapped for the simple mechanical dial? I have had the battery die twice since I have owned it, once required a trip to the store for another battery (not good in a SHTF situation)
I have a Ruger PC9 that I would love to put night sights on but I cant seem to find anyone making them. The only thing I can find is fiber optic front sight blades and all of those are a cheesy looking, tall, thin post that looks like it would snap off the first time you bumped it.
