Trying to get this thing working for a friend. Winchester model 290 .22. I will fire one or twice then just a click. I THINK the problem is a chip in the firing pin. Ordered a new one to try. Have yet to find out how to get it all apart though. Thoughts or ideas? TIA

What buffer works best with it? Some places say the carbine one is fine, others say H1. Same with the tube. Carbine or rifle length? TIA

Have a parts kit OTW. Can't do the welding or pressing the barrel in the trunion. Anyone in thea east valley? ARS isn't doing any for awhile. Thanks
