I can’t remember, roughly what time of year do they typically lift the restrictions? I realize it entirely weather dependent, I’m just looking for an average I guess.

I’m in the market for a scope for my hunting rifle chambered in 30-06. I’m interested in the Vortex Viper 4-16x50 or x44mm. Anyone have any experience with either? Any reason to go with the 50mm objective over the 44 or vice versa? Thanks
