BLM planning on restricting shooting in Sonoran Desert NM

I searched but didn't find posts related to this. The BLM is preparing to close most of the Sonoran Desert National Monument to recreational shooting. There is a public comment period for this but it ends on July 21st. It's been a long saga going back at least 2012 when the BLM published a...

Not exactly Ukraine but close. The caption on this was Finish reservists training as Finland increases military readiness. The RK 62 (from Finnish rynnäkkökivääri 62, 'assault rifle 62'), officially 7.62 RK 62 and commercially M62, is an assault rifle manufactured by Valmet and Sako. It is...

Translated caption for the picture Be careful not to pick up such crap from old corpses or on the road. The plastid into which the detonator is inserted is inserted from below. When filling the store with ammunition, as they fill up, they begin to press on the detonator, which in turn acts on...

Swiss Brugger & Thomet rifle, could be 7.62x51 or 338 Laupua depending on the model. Is the ejection port big enough for .338? Looks like Zbroyar Z-10, Ukrainian 7.62x51mm based on the AR-10 Z-10 on the roof.

Stills from a video of Ukrainian troops examining a recoilless rifle that appears to be a Russian SPG-9 type or some variant - they licensed it to Bulgaria and Ukraine. Supposedly an effective range of 800m - 1300m depending on the type of ammunition. The guy on the left in the next two...

Guns of Ukraine war picture thread

On the first page of this thread there's a pic of a guy holding a rifle laying in a trench. This appears to be the same type of rifle, a Sako TRG 42. This pic was captioned as being of a Canadian volunteer sniper who posted the pic recently to dispel rumors of his demise.

Post 4 here has good closeup pictures of the selector lock vs. selector switch. https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=30786 another picture. It's not intended to be permanent and just takes drifting the pin out and replacing the selector lock with the switch (assuming you have a switch.)
