I recently bought a barrel for an AR10 that came without dimples for the gas block. I'm looking for a jig for a 0.875 gas block. This is new territory for me. I've found a few options, but honestly don't know what I don't know about these. Any advice before I buy something?
TIA...

You might check with RJ. He is drilling some barrels, and He has stuff.

You don't need a jig. Put the gas block in place, install one set screw. Center punch the other set screw location. Reverse and repeat. Drill the dimple. Done.
But, if you insist on using a jig...

You could buy a set of transfer punches and then use the gas block as the jig. Transfer punches are handy and not that expensive.
