Ammo prices hasn't come down since COVID-19 panic buying and now will probably stay high till after Nov election.

Ruger stock opened up 12% this morning. Expectations regarding panic buying are still high apparently!

Yep think we are in this for the long haul now. All depends on how the election goes at this point

There was plenty of ammo at the chandler store I was in today. As long as you need 25 or 32 ACP.

Saw a .25acp for $300 on armslist today. If it sells, wow.

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
C2 Scottsdale shooting stalls are booked up (for members) for 4 or 5 days.
Buddy of mine owns Cajun Concealed in Louisiana and was talking with him the other day. The panic buy settled down, but now is coming back with a furor. Everything he had shipped in is gone again.
Ammo WAS coming back into stock, but is now disappearing again.
Just glad I have what I want and roll my own ammo.

IMO with covid 19 continuing and Trump behind in some polls I believe the panic buying will continue. Especially if a 2nd wave of covid 19 happens and the polls don't turn in Trump's favor.

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
what we have been seeing will be the norm indefinitely.
some of this might have been deliberately constructed, but one thing after another keeps renewing the "panic" and I can see this continuing, one "crisis" after another, long into the future.
buy and stock up now, I doubt it is going to get any better any time soon, if at all.

My local shop in Tucson gets inventory in regularly. I was able to buy a Taurus G2C stainless slide for $219 so they are not gouging compared to the black slide used ones I see on Armslist for over $300.

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
Went to Bass Pro this afternoon to return some defective hiking poles. While there, I checked out the gun department. Zero handgun ammo on the shelves, except for .17 and a couple boxes of .480 Ruger and .454 Casull.
Quite a few guns on the shelves, but no ARs, and shotguns were much depleted. A line of people waiting to get to the counter to buy something. Looked to me like mostly young couples.

Trump was behind in the polls 90 to 10 in some cases to haggery most of the way through election night.

I think it is going to take a while for everything to settle down again.

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
I sure hope not.
I have been waiting for it to calm down. Just looking at some of the lines at the stores makes me turn around and go home.
