How do you like the Ruger Precision 22lr rifle?

Discuss rifles, carbines, and other long-arms here (AR-15's, AK's, etc...)

If all you want the rifle to do is be able to hit a shotgun shell at 100 yards, any CZ will be able to do that...you don't need the higher end models.

Look at the Ruger American Rimfire Target or the Long Range Target models. Both will be able to do what you want also.

Mine has comparable accuracy to my 10/22. I went to the Lapua test tunnel in North Mesa and got to compare it with a Voodoo Tactical, Walther KK300, and Walther KK500.
The Ruger Precision Rimfire will never compete with them.
However, the Ruger price is much more affordable, and has all the features that I desired. If you have the specific desires that the RPR provides then it is definitely worth the price.

However, if you are looking for ultimate accuracy and easy loading and shooting, then I have not found anything that compares to the Walther KK500.

Got an Ruger precision, 2x cz 452 trainer, 452 ultra-lux, Remington 581 and 2 Suhl standard.

The ruger rimfire is in the same class as a nice production 22lr.
It can't begin to compete with the Suhl even in my hands without major work.

It might compete with a CZ 452 on a really good day.
