Rem 700 barrel removal
Looking to pull the barrel off my 700 to thread the end. any one have tooling to help me remove the barrel. I can thread it myself. Just looking for removal and install maybe.

Why does the barrel need to come off to thread it? If you have the ability to thread it you have the hard part covered. Buy an action wrench and a good barrel vice. You will use them more than once, I promise.

What are you using to thread it? I hope it's a lathe...which you wouldn't need to take the barrel off to do...this is making me nervous for your rifle.
Any gunsmith worth a damn doesn't have to remove the barrel from the receiver to thread a barrel.

I have never removed a barrel from the receiver to thread it, and I have probably threaded 200+ non AR-15 barrels over the past 8+ years for suppressors and muzzle brakes. Only time I ever pull barrels is because they are shot out and are being changed out for a new one or changing calibers.
