I like odd firearms too but why?

Nothing in that link piqued my interest.

Well if you got a dump trunk load of money to pay for the ammo it might be fun.

Otherwise it's just another answer to a question no one asked.

Spending $2,000 to shoot a round that costs $3.00 per shot in a rifle that you can't find parts for at your local gunsmith....no thanks.

Agreed, I already have an AR50 at a $2k base price and $3 per round cost. I think throwing 650gr of screw-u down range or watching an APIT strike is much more fun in that price-range.

I guess there is nothing good to say about that rifle other than it's a pistol caliber.

The only way to shoot this economically is to reload for it. This would be a great in town weapon.

I would take my 458 SOCOM over that thing any day and have enough cash left over for almost a 1,000 rounds of factory ammo.

And you do this based on what experience, with either weapon, or anything else for that matter?

Interesting concept. Though it kind of answers a question that wasn't asked and I don't see it doing anything "better" then what is already out there.

Yup. Reload ,458 is a proprietary case. If they are available they are not cheap. 500 s&w is not under contract with the military. They are easier to get. But hey im.sure the 3 stooges will chim in soon just to argue.
