Time to ask the yearly question. Is the desert still open for shooting? How do you check to see the fire restrictions?

Tonto NF and BLM have already started as of 6/8.

You can see restrictions on the National forest website.

I still maintain that you have to be trying in order to start a fire while shooting. Unless you're shooting incendiaries. I've shot here in the desert for many years and not once came even close to starting a fire.

Why not call the LOCAL BLM and find out WHY their local ranges are closed?
