End of an era of real Americans, won't be long as noted in piece they will be gone, i grew up with these Veterans, as my father was a Marine in the south pacific theater, and just wow, they believed, and did the job, came home and built America for its greatest time, just so it could be torn down all within less than half a century. Shame where we are headed.

Re: Last call for Easy Company members
I grew up around veterans from every conflict going back to when General Pershing went into Mexico.
My Father was in the Army in WWII , from the beginning to the end. He was in Africa , Rhineland , Europe , Germany and Czechoslovakia.
My Father in Law was in the Navy on a destroyer in the pacific. He also was there from the beginning to the end.
Neither one of them ever talked about it.
They are true patriots.
My Father raised the flag every morning at sunrise and took it down every evening at dusk , as long as I can remember.
When my Father was on his death bed he complained ( the only thing he ever complained about ) because he couldn't see his flag flying on the flag pole. So I cut 4 feet off the top of the pole , so he could see the flag from his bed.
I still fly his flag to this day , on the same flag pole he flew it on.
God Bless America and God Bless the veterans that kept and still keep it safe.

My direct descendants and I have fought and blead in every war form the Revolutionary War to Veit Nam. We all answered the call and fought under the Flag we love. Sorry I can't say the same for my son. To this day I consider all past and present veterans my brothers and sisters. We all gave some, and some gave all. GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

They gave so much and asked for so little.
