Prvi Partizan Brass 7.5x55 Swiss Unprimed Brass Primer Pocket
I bought a bag of 50 Prvi Partizan 7.5 Swiss brass. The primer pockets were really tight. I had just loaded 150 rounds of 7.62X54R S&B brass using the same Winchester LR primers without incident. I really had to exert a Lot of pressure to seat the primer in the PP brass. Anyone else have this problem?

Admittedly I have not bought any Swiss PP brass in the last couple of years. My brass is pretty normal when it comes to the primer pockets. Also, I hand prime everything and I have arthritis. So tight primer pockets would be a no go for me. I just reloaded a bunch of Swiss loads for both my K31 and my 1896.
Getting warmer out so it is time to take them back out.

High Standard I agree. That's why I reloaded the Swiss for my K31 and K11.

You know you might try another brand of LRP if you have them. I remember Federal primers were a tight fit in some of my brass but CCI primers snicked right in with my hand primer without undo pressure.

Thanks, good idea. I have some CCI 34 LRP when I reload again.High Standard wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2022, 8:38 am You know you might try another brand of LRP if you have them.
