People have banged someone else’s steel with AP ammo and ruined it, Not Cool.
ok...first off it was NOT AP ammo, just run of the mill Russky surplus, and second off, it didn't RUIN his steel, just dinged it a bit and sent it flying.
C'mon, it was a dare, and he got over it (didn't he?!?).
Yeah.. run of the mill Russky....Hmm
He got over it.. yes..$130 later..
Geesch....
As YNOTAZ posted..."People have banged someone else’s steel with AP ammo and ruined it, Not Cool."
We were shooting 7.62x54 at your white steel targets....those sure don't look like 7.62x54 holes....(that was the day we were all taking turns with my Mosin/Archangel configuration).
Gil, if I owe you a plate, let me know the size and I will bring one up with me.

ok, that wasn't cool. I didn't know we punched holes through the plates.
The only reason I posted is to make folks aware that it can happen. It was more of a heads-up than anything else. That plate has taken a .50BMG (ball) hit and survived with no damage.
hey a reminder, i need to know who and how many, can pm me if you like, i'm a fan of not all knowing shite, so do how you can, i need a basic head count so i don't come with two cows instead of one to cook.

Have we pegged the date? By the poll looks like 4/2 is it. If so I can check with a couple folks to see if they can make it and give headcount.
Yep.. need a firm date b 4 I can confirm the number of attendees.
Also by then, I'll need to borrow a hundy so I can put 10 gallons of fuel in my truck.
This will be the first time in my life that the cost of driving to the range will b more than the cost to shoot
