Anyone having issues on the site; is your browser using an ad or script blocker? Or possibly blocking cookies?

Got logged in. Only see 6 items but it’s just starting so what I expected. I just need to learn the navigation because on the phone it’s hard.
Said I had a $5 credit or something…but then wanted $1.50/year to be verified??? Not sure about that.

Yes. You can't be verified using abstract "credit" in the system. The point of verification is that you need to use a payment gateway to provide a real CC info (and thus, real name and address) and have a real charge go through. No CC info is stored by the site and the site doesn't proxy the transactions. The $1.50 you are charged to 'verify' your account for a year is then credited back to you on AZSAuctions that you can use for things like highlighted listings, or featured, etc. The $5 is something I am crediting all new accounts for now so you can try the 'up-sell' features at no cost.

Thanks to those of you who registered (over 40 so far) and to those of you who have listed items already. The more people we get on the site, the better it'll become.
Spread it by word of mouth and/or on other forums when appropriate.
Also, I will likely work on an auto-image re-sizer down the road, but it's not an easy thing to add and uses a lot of server resources to do (I'm on a shoestring budget here!). In the interim, there are a LOT of sites that will auto-reize for you for free. I only care about file size - they need to be under 250k each. Site like this: https://imageresizer.com/ work well and are easy to use. The other alternative is that if you're hosting it on a place like flickr or imgur, you can use the remote URL to add the images.

Location of the item needs to be plainly listed in the posting.

No new ones - we have the new site, as mentioned. It would kinda defeat the purpose if I left them open to new ads, wouldn't it?Ballistic Therapy wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2021, 9:44 am So as of now , we can not post any classifieds on this sight ?

I've added a bulk lister tool that lets you put a bunch of items you want to sell into a single CSV file (Excel or Google Docs) and easily add items to your spreadsheet/csv and then import it to list them. You can import them as "Drafts" so they don't immediately go live so that you can verify that your spreadsheet settings were correct.

Tried this over the weekend. no problems registering or listing an item. Pretty straight forward but does take some getting used to the format. I like not having to host the photos elsewhere but you need to resize. I simply emailed them to myself and selected a smaller size then uploaded to the site, I can always send potential buyers full resolution if needed or requested. So far so good.
Only issue I see is one more step to selling something here, People are lazy enough that the 5mins it takes to register somewhere else is too much for them. I hope it does grow with traffic in the future. I have forwarded it friends and family as well.

The government went after them for making it easier for people to buy guns, or in the Fed's mind to circumvent background checks where required. Armslist's answer to that, or to take advantage of increase in traffic, was to force anyone who wanted to contact a seller to subscribe to their "premium" service at $7 a month. If you want to see the listing description, you need an account. If you have one before they created this change, you can view, just can't contact. If you didn't have an account then you need to sign up for their premium service.
