http://www.azcdl.org - The Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) is an IRC 501(c)(4) non-profit, all volunteer, non-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to the principles contained in Article II, Section 2 of the Arizona Constitution that "All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights." The rights of self-defense and bearing arms are the foundation for all other rights. Our freedom of speech, our freedom from unreasonable searches, our rights against self-incrimination, our right to bear arms, all of our fundamental rights only exist because we stand firmly resolved to preserve them. The AzCDL exists to strengthen that resolve.

Obituary of David Charles Kopp
IN THE CARE OF

Shadow Mountain Mortuary
A celebration of life for Dave will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, Az 85022.
David “Dave” Charles Kopp (February 24, 1966 - August 24, 2022). The son of Bennett Kopp and Linda Gallo, who both predeceased him less than one year ago. Dave passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

He cared deeply for those in his life. His family, especially, was the world to him.

He was a lover of music (the louder, the better), history of all kinds, cars / motorcycles (the faster, the better), and politics. He was a member of multiple groups, especially those regarding the Second Amendment and motorcycle rights.

He started his work career as a computer programmer for his father's company. As he became more involved in politics, he moved over to become a lobbyist and helped found and shape AzCDL. One of his favorite sayings was: "Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn't mean politics won't take an interest in you" - Pericles

Dave worked tirelessly in his efforts to try and protect what he felt were everyone's inalienable rights.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Noreen, son Dylan, daughter Taylor, sister Lisa, and brother James and his family.

Dave did not want a formal wake or funeral - he wished for a simple get-together where people could gather and offer their farewells. Anyone wanting an opportunity to say goodbye is welcome to stop by Shadow Mountain.

In lieu of flowers, Dave would have preferred donations to a charity of your choosing.

He was overheard saying St.Judes Childrens Hospital was excellent, and that "Kids should not have to live with cancer!"

Rest In Peace, my friend!
