+1 on the pipe, you use small diameter steel tube and just place one after the other like a conveyor belt. If you have a smooth floor a uhaul or harbor freight moving blanket placed under it also works as a skid. For final placement, Lowes sells a 36x6" workmat designed as a stair tread protector and i have 2 of those under mine which allows me to move it when empty for final positioning.

As Jesse delivered my latest safe, Mrs. Flash asked him what he had that was bigger.
He advised her to get another one the same size as the one he was delivering and use them both instead of one that's larger.

yes never went for the really big safes, in lieu of that have a slue of the middle size units, and serves the purpose well.

Mine is about as big as a single door model gets, I chose one that's half long guns and half shelves, but the guns keep multiplying inside the safe. Kinda like rabbits.
