PM notification problem found

I've got the " you have a private message " banner and even after seeing my message the banner will not go away, I've clicked on the banner, the message itself and have tried everything I could think of but the notification will not go away. Help.

Check to make sure you don't have more than one new message. Happened to me just last night. Clicking away trying to get the notification to go away and then realized I had a second message I hadn't opened. Rare that I get a pm. Rarer still that I got two from two different people at the same time. Opened the second and alert went away

Just checked again, no unopened messages, nothing showing in the inbox, banner still there.

Edit; shut down my tablet, banner now gone, guess it needed a reboot, thanks.
