Look I'm no crack shot, but some of that stuff sounds ridiculous.

I definitely buy it. The sight was dead center when I first got my 19x and I was consistently shooting left. It was driving me nuts! I'm not the best shot, but I was hitting dead center with other handguns, so I dropped in a laser boresight to see it the sights were off. Sure enough, the laser was pointing exactly where I was hitting. Before I adjusted the sight, I was shooting about 3-4" left at 20'.

Here's how far over I had to move the rear sight.

I've had that happen also, coincidentally on a police trade in SIG 229r that I lost to the sea. I used a range officer, friend, and finally a laser sight to confirm it wasn't just my terrible marksmanship.
