Not to take anything away from anyone in this thread, but there is independence training as well to get your CCW.

Veteran? A copy of your DD214, application, and two fingerprint cards is all you need. But for training Hansen is your answer for personal instruction.

John Hanson is the man!! Took my CCW yeeeears ago. He also put on a CQC course for a group of us. It was such a great time and course.
