I'll second that. They've reopened. I live just down the road from them. I went in and bout a few rounds just a couple days ago.

U.N. ammo is an institution in the valley. An ammo shop that sells by the case at reasonable prices. Seeing them closed was not a welcome sight. I’ve been buying from them since the business was out of the back of a truck. Glad to see them back.

My understanding is Howie decided to close shop (retire?) effective the beginning of this year.

I saw Howie at the Spring '21 Big Sandy and expressed my gratitude for 15+ years and thousands of rounds of good business and well wishes to his retirement.

He didn't look at me like I was nuts, so I must have heard right about the retirement.
