Any of you guys enter the local gun shops lately? Are they still empty or can we actually go in and browse/buy things we don't need?

Ted's was about half full with a nice selection of somewhat over priced guns but we may be headed to panic buying 2.0 with the rioting. Already saw a few "need a gun now" ads on armslist

I think it was cooling down before the riots started. Now who knows.

Sportsmans in north Phoenix had a line of 20+ when I was there. Only one douche wearing a mask that I saw.

More panic buying on the way.
May sales up 80% over 2019. More to come from suburbanites determined to fend off the raging hordes.

A buddy first-time gun owner who bought himself a Glock 43 during the panic had been trying to get me with him out to the range to show him the basics and give him some fundamental instruction. I wanted to, but many things have been going on in my own world and I haven't been able to do so. Things died down, and he stopped bugging me about it. Then this morning it started again, with gusto. "Are you free this week to take me to the range?" Fortunately, I finally am.

Yes sir .. just scanning armslist for no particular thing and ran across this

https://www.armslist.com/posts/11894146 ... k-19-gen-5

Now .. it does have the scull thingy on the back so that might justify the price!! :D

Meh .. more power to him .. maybe some cat with very deep pockets is afraid of looters and the seller will make a killing

Looking forward to that panic selling in a few months when the bills are due and the free money stops flowing in.

At 10am, Bass Pro had a line 20 deep at the gun counter. 9mm selling out rapidly. Almost no primers, not that I was in the market.

Nah, they'll use them to rob.

Local gun store in Tempe had 25 people in it today at noon. I usually poke around in gun store on the way to pool store but not today. Too busy!
