I think it sounds like a great idea, but it might be hard to keep all of that updated and organized in a forum. Not the best format if you ask me, but it's better than nothing. I agree that it could cut down on the clutter.
Breaking things down in categories like manufacturers, ranges, finishes/coatings, and gunsmiths seems like a no-brainer. Categories like ammo and components could get out of control since it's the type of stuff that almost anywhere with have locally.

Jay will always try to match internet prices OTD i.e., cost of internet gun +shipping and FFL, to earn your business. I'd say he is able to do that 4/5 times, can't remember how many I've bought from him.
Just ask for the operator looking guy with the big fuzzy beard.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, but this seems to be getting off-topic. I don't think the point of the post was to turn this thread into a random string of local vendors, but to discuss the possibility of getting something more structured and organized for future reference.

Without specific organized categories to access, it could turn into a long thread that one would have to search its entirety, to find what you want.

Re: No Arizona 2A business thread?
It would be nice to see a list of gun stores per city.

PHPBB has plugins that let you add a wiki. Perhaps the site owner could be persuaded to add one and a link to it in the main area.
