Just wondering what sites you guys use for getting news about firearms, guns, 2A, RKBA, CCW, etc...
I want to start syndicating content via RSS for this site, so you will get news here as it is released, but can use the forums to comment on it and discuss.
What sites do you guys use for firearm-related news?

Probably the best overall source I've stumbled across is S.P. Wenger's daily email gun and gun related news.
You can subscribe on his website.

If you're referring to https://www.spw-duf.info/, unfortunately the site design and coding leaves much to be desired, nor is there any RSS feeds that I can find. Looks like he just uses an old BB system.

There are others I try to remember to get back to, but Shooter’s Log has great quick articles

General Discussion "GD" (by way of the Active Topics button at the top left) at AR15.com.
No joke. Every single firearm related item in the news is posted there within minutes of it breaking.
Not that that'll help you for what you're trying to do here, but it's my answer.
Also: very high noise to signal ratio in the ARFCOM GD.

Re: What sites do you guys use for firearm-related news?
Thanks. I've got TTAG as a possibility - just need to fix some bugs in the RSS feed for that one. Downside to that one is that they don't provide much content, just a link with maybe a sentence.
Guns.com is a really good one - and they syndicate ALL their content, so I can get it all to appear on the site - but alas, need to work through a bug with that one, too.
The CTD one is interesting. They provide a feed, but my worry with that one is that it may turn into just a vehicle for marketing their stuff. Any concerns there?
The Active Response Training one looks really good too. I found their feed and I can work on testing that one and maybe syndicate it into the Tactics and Training forum here as new topics.

That's not the one I was referring to, but as an aside, it is pretty mickey mouse.admin wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2018, 12:24 pmIf you're referring to https://www.spw-duf.info/, unfortunately the site design and coding leaves much to be desired, nor is there any RSS feeds that I can find. Not only do I agree with the concern about marketing - I also remember their actions a couple of years ago that caused many pro-2A folks to swear never to have anything further to do with them. Personally, I've written them off for good.
