I don't think the Jim Jones range is that big a secret.

A lot of the USPSA shooters from the valley who shoot at Rio know about it. Many shoot the monthly match up there.

Re: Jim jones range
Your lucky you could find some dirt for the belt feds, they don't do well on cement.

Nice
Re: Jim jones range
LOL, luckily there were no beltfeds... pan mag and strip fed! The range officer was more than accommodating and set me up on the 300 yard range to the left of the public main range!storage_man wrote: ↑May 13th, 2020, 1:41 pm Your lucky you could find some dirt for the belt feds, they don't do well on cement.

What is the membership fee? We have a place in Strawberry and pass by that range on our way there. Been considering joining for a long time, but I procrastinate.

Re: Jim jones range
Sounds just like my story. Procrastination is my excuse. $50 a year is a deal. It's 55 minutes from my house in east mesa. I'm gonna go up on a Saturday and the next couple weeks and do the range orientation and pay my membership. Just waiting to make sure they are open and ready.desertcop204 wrote: ↑May 17th, 2020, 5:23 pm What is the membership fee? We have a place in Strawberry and pass by that range on our way there. Re: Jim jones range
The thing that sucks about Jim Jones and Phoenix Rod is that they are annual memberships that start at a fixed date. So if you join 8 months into the membership year, you still pay for a full year and get only 4 months of use. There's no prorating. At least not at JJ.

Yea man that blows for sure! I really have to make sure i get my $50 bucks worth. My two oldest sons both have elk hunt this year so it will be a nice change to get so.e trigger time with them rather than the with the masses at rio range.Jack Dupp wrote: ↑May 17th, 2020, 7:19 pm The thing that sucks about Jim Jones and Phoenix Rod is that they are annual memberships that start at a fixed date.
