Now the range nazi's lose their mind if I want to eat some chips, or have a drink at my table.

The entire place is run by leftist liberal cucks, most of which are out of state snowbirds that live in RV's onsight.

Screw Ben Avery and every single person that works there. BA can rot, along with this entire state. Farewell AZ, it was good while it lasted.

I haven't been out there in several months, but noticed some updated rules on their web site. Seems they allow paper targets on some tables. Also noticed they are closing at 3pm.

I need to zero a few new rifles so I am going Saturday. I can take some pictures hahaha! The paper target tables last I looked were booked till the last week August.

I was hoping for more rain so I can get up in the desert, but looks like it is over for now, heating up again.

Can we hang our own paper targets? or are we stuck with the ones they "sell" or provide?
I cannot do load development and zero on the targets they are showing.

Some of us need or want a public range.

I have went several times the last three weeks. The break format is the same as it was , shoot for 15ish, break for 10 ish.

Basically everything is the same - except only two guns on the table (you can have more in cases) and the limit on number of people at a table.

You have to book in advance on the website.

I go on weekdays as I am off work during the week and it hasn't been super busy.

Every 15ish minutes there's a break?

I need to zero and have refrained from going because my buddy says they only have two breaks within that hour.

That's not how I zero so I haven't went. If that's not the case then I might reconsider going.

You can bring your own targets, just can't use humanoid or zombie targets.

Thanks @82echo i just use little dots or load development paper sheets. I was worried we weren't allowed to walk down range anymore because of the new rules.

The new rules still include the breaks to change your targets. You can book paper target tables, or steel target tables. The last three time I have went - they had about three breaks per booking session time.

From the looks of the fancy booking website its going to be here to stay and not a temporary thing due to Covid. Is BA now a pay per hour range instead of the $8 per shooter and stay as long as you like?

7.50 for an hour and a half, targets included.

To be honest, I don't mind if this is a permanent change. I don't mind booking in advance, as it saves me from wondering if I will have to wait when I get there. Still 1/2 the price or better of indoor ranges with more availability and versatility.

They haven't said if it is permanent or not, so I don't know if anyone knows the answer.

It's not so much that I'm a rebel as it is that you're a boot licking transplant.
