Sportsmans Warehouse out of everything

#1

Post by Ballistic Therapy »

I went to Home Depot this morning to buy some lumber.
There is a Sportsmans Warehouse right next door.
I got to Home Depot about 9:00 and over in the Sportsmans parking lot there were people all over.
I spent about an hour and a half in Home Depot getting my material.
When I was done I thought I would walk over to Sportsmans and see what the hoopla was about.
They only had one door open and are only letting a certain number of people in the store at a time.
There was a sign by the door that had a list of all the ammo they did not have. Pretty much everything.
I went in and walked around the store.
Everyone that came in grabbed a cart or a basket and headed towards the ammo section. Not one person walked out with anything.
They were almost sold out of guns. They had a very small selection of guns in the counter or on the racks.
It just makes me wonder if people are buying for themselves or buying to resale.

Buying for themselves mainly, all the newbs and libs are wanting guns because their asses are in danger now. Back when Obama was DP'ing the country was when the rest of us were buying

I've been getting a bunch of calls from people looking for ammo and they have little clue what they are looking for. Its a lot of green people looking for something to keep the looters and zombies out of their houses

Maybe this will be a wake up and people will realize the second amendment isn't about hunting and target shooting.

DMAFB PX was out of almost ALL calibers of ammo, and only had 4 handguns left, all high $$.

Their cases probably hold 60-75 handguns, and all but 4 gone each $700 and up.

People are also having to wait 3-4 days or longer for the background check to come through.
So much for the gun show loophole.

A friend of mine ordered a gun a couple weeks ago.
The gun store called him Saturday and said it came in.
The background check was delayed and the store told him to come back Wednesday.

If that's true. That's a lot of guns those stores have to sit on.

teds still has ammo at reasonable prices and limited to 2 boxes per caliber per person and have more coming in. They have a lot of bolt action rifles and a couple over unders and prices are still good

I was lulled into a false sense of security over the past year or two..I had 2 sons in the last two months do a day of rifle training and they probably went thru a thousand rounds. Friday, I was driving thru Avondale On McDowell around 0930 and thought I stop in and check for 556 or 223 and parking lot already filling up
