Flat Iron

Flat Iron was my favorite shooting spot until it was closed. My son was riding his motorcycle by there yesterday on his way to Wickenburg and said he didn't see any signs up and the people were out there shooting. Anybody else been out?

That is good news. I'll be heading back out. I think it was John Hansen that posted that he was out with a CCW class when workers showed up and posted no shooting signs and that the area was slated for development.

It’s still open, the signs say no dumping. Just like all the other spots it’s starting to get trashy. Last time I was out there a bunch of dumb asses were out there too, be safe.

This is true.
About 3/4 of the eastern half of the mountain is on Bill's land, and all the acreage eastward for miles.
So it's all private property for now

Dam, his investment company owns everything surrounding FIM, except for these three parcels at the west end of it.

And they have parcels all the way south to the solar panels at indian school.

According to the Arizona Parcel viewer http://gis.azland.gov/webapps/parcel/?l ... yers=3,1,0 most of the land with the exception of a single parcel was and still is private land.

As soon as I saw on the assessor maps it was private property I stopped shooting there. I would not want people shooting on my 50 acres without my permission.
