Pistol safe recommendations

#1

Post by Solar_Empire »

Looking for small pistol safe recommendations, something to store 1 pistol, a couple magazines and a small batch of ammo. My sister has finally seen the light, realizing that a gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone. Thinking about it though, I've only ever owned large safes as a junkie collector and being single with no kids I just leave my nightstand gun, well, on the nightstand.

She wants something that's secure (obviously) but quick to get into. Just seeing if someone out there has some experience with a brand or model (good or bad) and can give an honest take. Thanks.

2 best handgun safes depending on budget will be Vaultek or Gunvault.

Vaultek will be super nice, lots of features, quicker access but more expensive than the basic 4 button Gunvault.

Ok I'll check them out. Budget would be 300 but willing to spend a little more if need be, forgot to add that part.

With a $300 budget and only wanting to store one pistol, I would do this:
https://vaulteksafe.com/product/vaultek ... 20-series/
OR
https://vaulteksafe.com/vaultek-slider-series/

And bolt it down in an easily accessible location.

I've got the older version of this one; can't complain.
