Southwest Mfg. Grp. in Chandler, Fred Johnson - M14

I'm helping a friend appraise a collection that he will be liquidating for the widow. There is a rifle in the collection that is a rebuilt T-44 (in semi-auto with a semi receiver). The name associated with this build is Southwest Mfg. Group, Chandler, AZ and the name of the builder is believed to be Fred Johnson. The gun has been in the collection probably for at least 30 years?
