Was left unsupervised this weekend

Post by Kingjoey »

Ended up buying that HiPoint carbine from Bob while the GF was half-asleep in the truck. Then went shopping today and ended up buying four bricks of 22LR while she went to get hair stuff. Then bought a new Bushmaster M4 on Gunbroker tonight while she was sleeping. Amazing how much can get done when the women ain't watching 😄

I had an office delivery address but since I retired I only have home. Too many boxes cause too much trouble.

I always make a big deal when I sell something and make sure the wife knows all about it.
But when I buy something I do it as discreetly as possible.

As long as the gun is black she can't tell one from another.
I found that out when I purchase one that was FDE and she noticed immediately.

Mine was same but different; as long as it was walnut & iron, I could get away with, "This old thing? I've had it for years..."

Online shopping is what causes me to buy way too much.
I bought a Remington 870 Tac14 DM because it was on closeout for $250 and had a $50 factory rebate. Then I won a Keltec RBD because I entered a low bid of $621 and nobody out bid me.

I've also bought some motorcycle stuff as well. Now that we are going into fall and riding season, the rest country is selling gear cheaply.

I need to invent a breathalyzer for the internet, computer, phone. Being bored having a few barley pops and a credit card are a bad combo on the internet. If i had all the money i have wasted on stuff i don't need i could retire early. I recently bought 2 Walther Creeds cause they were on sale for 249.00. I had never even heard of them until RJ mentioned them in a post. What the hell did i need them for. Truck guns i guess......

Just be glad you only have one major hobby/obsession.

I frequent some sword, knife and coin collector forums as well and all have a rich classifieds section.

Yep, gotta watch out for liquor and internet shopping. My buddy went to Rocky point to his condo, got really drunk, got online to an auction site. He won the auction, for a 57 Chevy, with a 1200 hp hemi.
His wife was very happy with him after that.🤪
