GunBroker Thoughts?

#1

Post by DRTDIVR »

I'm looking at a few things on my list and the selection and price on Gunbroker is pretty hard to ignore because I can't find a new Dan Wesson Specialist in Duty finish or a used Walther P99 locally.

I found a DW Specialist at crossroads show but the price was crazy high. As for the P99, never see them at the shows or in the AZS classifieds.

So anyone have issues buying from them? I hate ebay and GunBroker seems like the ebay of guns but some times its necessary to use EvilBay when that's the only place that has what they have.

IMO Gunbroker is fine to purchase guns off of. Look at the feedback of the dealer and if it is good, go for it.

I just finished up two different deals on Gunbroker, having never used them before.

They were excellent to deal with and through.

I have never bought used on gunbroker but my last 4 or 5 new guns were from gunbroker and they were all great easy deals and I saved a very nice amount.

Most sellers think their guns are worth more than retail on Gunbroker.

Shop around not only on gunbroker but you can find deals on gundeals.com...just remember to factor in shipping, ffl fee and now freakin tax..I’m not sure on tax on gunbroker but it’s like everywhere now...I have nothing but good praise about gunbroker but just like anything else you buy not seen, it can have issues..checkout the feedback and ask for more pics, if they don’t want to send pics then judge on that..make sure you look at the return policy if your having doubts..but most of the time your good to go...if it’s a crap seller you will see it in the feedback..
