I have a couple, never had a problem, but I would build it, and not take them apart dozens of times. I imagine that over time, the tolerances might widen over time and multiple disassemblies.

I would look for a cav arms lower. I think it's the best polymer lower out there. Unfortunately, their castings wore out and they were supposed to get new ones, it never happened so you would have to search the secondary market.

One of my partners got one, i dont recall the make, and it was the worst thing to happen to an ar since the democratic party. For the cost spend a bit more on palmetto and get a real one

I have one I built from a lower from New Frontier Armory years ago. I bought the polymer lower from them and it sat in my safe for a while, then I finally finished a year or so ago but have not had the chance to shoot it yet due to health problems, but I have a friend who built he same one I have and has shot probably 1K rounds through it with no problems.

Polymer lowers are great for a small fire fight. That's it. So I would build one zero it and leave it for my war stock. Definitely not my everyday.

I always liked the CAV lowers. Right LOP with the A1 length stock and nothing to pinch my beard.

I have a couple "Plum Crazy" lowers as well, have shot the hell out of them and no problems with them. I did add the external pin braces to eliminate any wobble over time, and have never had a problem with them.

when AR's and AR parts were scarce, these were around, so I bought a couple lowers as spares.

unfortunately, they all went down in an unfortunate boating accident at Lake Pleasant and I no longer own any...
